These “HOME FOR A REST” pendants are made in honour of my friend, John Mann, lead singer of Spirit of the West, sparked by the band's very well known and loved song.

John was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s at only 51 years old and has now passed away at only 57. He is sadly missed by all of us who knew him and those that knew his music too. I make these pendants in John’s memory and in support of all those that are affected by this illness.  Each sterling silver pendant is hand stamped and unique, just like John and all those struggling with Alzheimer’s.

I chose the price of $51 for these, as this was the age at which John received his diagnosis and I will be donating Proceeds from the sale of each necklace to Alzheimer’s Societies of Canada.
